What is Whiteley Infrastructure Group Right of Way Surveying?

When Whiteley completes a right of way survey, we determine and plot out where the limits of private land ownership are, along with whatever jurisdiction or agency has an interest in the property in question.

The process of determining the precise boundaries of the land, including right of way, includes surveying itself, as well as title research, boundary analysis and documentation, legal descriptions and plats, appraisal maps, and more.

What’s the difference between a Right of Way and an Easement?

An Easement allows an individual to enter your property and use it as a passage. A right of way is essentially land that is owned by a particular jurisdiction or government entity and is used for transportation, such as a road. That land may not be used to cut off people’s access to travel.
